Breakfast was good, staff friendly although there was some confusion about paying for the rooms, possibly due to a lack of clarity on the website, nice area.
A little shabby, no sign of any management in the evening - just bar staff. Our family room was directly over the function room so the very loud rock band sounded as if they were in bed with us. Mind you, you could hear them all over the hotel anyway. Fortunately we were in the mood for a party,, but if we'd gone for a quient country weekend we would have been very very unhappy. Possibility of noisy functions not mentioned when we booked.

We had a largeish comfortable room which suited us very well. The location was our choice and while we missed the mail entrance on the way in, but saw the back entrance sign easily.
While our booking stated clearly that we would arrive on a Monday, the hotel (manual) record showed that we are expected on the following day. However there was no problem about a roon being available. Also a small point, the height of the tables in the conservatory did not match the chairs! Not serious.
